Update: Lufkin PD Finds Missing 73-Year-Old Man

UPDATE: Preston McKenzie has been located safe by Lufkin Police Department officers and is being reunited with his family.
LUFKIN, Texas (KETK) — The Lufkin Police Department is seeking help in locating a missing 73-year-old man last seen on Friday afternoon.

Preston McKenzie, 73, was last seen around noon on Friday, Jan. 2 near a Chevron gas station at Atkinson Drive and Timberland Drive in Lufkin.
McKenzie is described as being 6-feet-2-inches tall, weighs about 140 pounds and has a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black cowboy hat, a black jacket and a blue shirt.
McKenzie lives on Arena Street and sometimes walks to Minnie Lou Street and also has dementia, according to the Lufkin Police Department.
Anyone with information or knowledge of McKenzie’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Lufkin Police Department by calling 936-633-0357.
